King's Seafood Company has continued to see our restaurants get busier and busier, with new restaurant openings on the way and increasing guest counts, we are hiring for our Payroll team. The Payroll Specialist is a key Crewmember who is responsible for producing payroll for anywhere between 4-10 restaurants. You will also support functional areas of the Human Resources department focusing on payroll as your specialty.Here's What We'll Bring To The Table:Competitive compensation of $26.00-$35.00 per hourCompetitive hourly rateMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, plus pet healthcare savings account (pre-tax)!401k MatchEducation ReimbursementAccrued Vacation and Sick DaysDining Discount for you and up to 5 guestsResponsibilitiesPayroll on a bi-weekly basis - Includes but not limited to checking manual checks, writing termination checks, 1-9 audits and compliance, inputting any new hire information and garnishments.Ultimately will be responsible for up to 1100 crewmembers using CeridianRunning reports through payroll systems (Ceridian) and internal systems for any payroll related projects in your area or for the company in generalAbility to maintain strict confidentialityCorrespond with crewmembers with regard to their payroll questions using DayforceCompile payroll data such as hours, garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401K deductionsWork closely with bookkeepers to ensure payroll is successful each pay periodJournal entries and accruals and understanding of General LedgerData entry and FilingRequirementsExpert level Excel skillsCeridian-Dayforce Experience (at least 2 years)A Bachelor Degree preferred1-4 years of relevant experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceSolid understanding of payroll and payroll tax lawsStrong oral and written communicationStrong time management skillsExcellent attention to detailWork well in a team environmentGreat follow up and follow throughby Jobble
