Drives strategy and execution for Source to Pay operating efficiencies and process optimization associated with the ERP system and connected boundary systems. Leads decision-making process and strategy for architectural business design for Source to Pay and deliverables to execute fully the project with go live in Q2 2027. Measures of success include achieving key project milestones, successful transition of Source to Pay business processes to SAP S4 and boundary systems, including compliant reporting, achieving NextGen benefit case, and achieving operating metrics and baseline performance of Source to Pay process for new system within 90 days of go live.Position Requirements:
- Leads the Global Business Process (GBP) workstream for Source to Pay for the NextGen ERP program. GBP includes all business processes associated with source, requisition, plan, execute, receive, inspect, and pay are defined and optimized leveraging core S4 capability where possible and alignment with intersecting global business processes.
- Transform Illumina's Source to Pay process and boundary systems portfolio to reflect a more flexible architecture and platform, allowing the company to both add new capabilities seamlessly and sustain its growth.
- Develops and leads business model, transformation strategy, timeline, budget, and resources for Order to Cash.
- Drive business analysis on all boundary systems and justify maintaining or propose alternative with full business case justification.
- Drive final design of Source to Pay business process with full documentation of system architecture and business process details. Create living design documents consistent with program standards and maintain throughout the decision making of the program.
- Partner with project team and System Integrator to create all business process documentation, training materials, test scripts, and testing. Provide overall training for Source to Pay using a train the trainer approach.
- Ensures global sourcing strategies for direct material and indirect material and service commodities are enabled with ERP. Ensure tool enables company's supplier risk process to ensure risk is managed effectively.
- Ensure global capability for compliance, security, and segregation of duties through proper controls, roles, transactions to roles, and process.
- Partners closely with and influences Sr. Leaders in Commercial, GSCM, R&D, GO, GIS, Facilities, SAGA, Finance, and Legal.
- Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
- Champions strategy and obtains strategic alignment from key stakeholders around system and business process capabilities and develops shared vision for the organization.
- Ensure the project organization is prudent in utilizing the most appropriate resources at all times (internal, outsourced, offshore, etc.).
- Collaborates with overall program change management office to manage workstream of program and creates business training, and other related deliverables to ensure successful change adoption of NextGen ERP program.
- Communicates effectively and efficiently with the NextGen ERP program team, Business Leaders, and transformation office on status of deliverables, business decisions, and milestone progress.
- Openly communicates ideas with organization and gains input
from the business partners in order to influence and gain buy-in
from senior leaders.All listed requirements are deemed as essential

responsibilities.Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
- Requires Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. M.S. or MBA preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience in ERP transformation, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing, and/or Finance roles. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experiences listed above.
- Requires a minimum of 7 years of supervisory and management experience.
- SAP Activate Project Manager, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification preferred.
- Broad knowledge of all Source to Pay business areas including Sourcing, Procurement, Receiving, Quality within an operation or site. Typically has depth of technical knowledge in function derived from experience in individual contributor and management roles.
- Experience in Life Science, Technology, Biotechnology, and/or a healthcare/regulated environment is required.
- Must have a track record of planning, managing and executing large-scale and multi-technology projects that meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
- Proven ability in managing programs in a matrix organization across multiple regions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.The
estimated base salary range for the Associate Director, Global
Source to Pay Business Transformation Lead role based in the United
States of America is: $152,600 - $228,800. Should the level or
location of the role change during the hiring process, the
applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation
decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not
limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role
is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market
data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our
variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may
receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide
