Job Description:

Replenish and merchandise bakery, coffee, and juice products, monitor inventory control, and participate in regional purchasing and promotions. Monitor and act on open PO reports, request signage, and control spoilage/shrink. Maintain relationships with vendors and analyze product transfers, waste, and spoilage. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

* Replenish products through proper buying procedures
* Monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits
* Request and ensure proper signage
* Control spoilage/shrink; achieve turn goals
* Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets
* Ensure orders for product are timely and accurate
* Maintain positive working relationship with vendors
* Oversee customer special order procedure
* Analyze and control product transfers, waste, and spoilage
* Support leadership in conducting inventories
* Maintain financial profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets

* Comprehensive knowledge of bakery, coffee, and juice products
* Working knowledge of merchandising expectations
* Strong basic math skills
* Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong to excellent communication skills
* Ability to meet customer service expectations

* 12+ months retail experience

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
* Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
* Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
* Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
* Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
