Catering Manager Job SummaryAs a Catering Manager at Eurest - Paramount Pictures, you will be responsible for overseeing the Catering Department, including training new associates, managing event set-ups, and directing temporary personnel. You will ensure proper service to clients during events, including setup, cleaning, and breakdown procedures.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all catering events to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with the Chef to create menus that meet client expectations.
• Train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
• Monitor labor and food costs for each event to maintain profitability.
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates to maintain excellent client relationships.
• Assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.Requirements:
  • 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year at the management level.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Catering experience is required.
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
